Tsilivi Beach

TSILIVI (Beach) ZAKYNTHOS
The beach of Tsilivi is long, safe, with fine sand and crystal clear waters. Here your can find plenty of tourist amenities and a wide range of water activities (tennis, water-ski, surfing, boat trips, fishing...) The north sea streams keep the waters of the bay always clear. Due to this Tsilivi beach is awarded with the Blue Flag of Europe from the EC. This lovely beach is backed with olive-tree planted hills and a vast plain of vineyards. In the area you can find restaurants with traditional and international cuisine, hotels, apartment hotels and pensions (there are 1500 beds in hotels and 3.500 beds in pensions and self-catering apartments). In the sea area north of the beach, the islet of Voidi, once connected with the mainland, is one of the many choices of seaside walks.

LIMNI KERIOU (Settlement) ZAKYNTHOS
The waters of the lake, so clear and transparent from afar, give the impression that one could drink them. Keri Lake was known from antiquity until recently for the natural pitch which welled up from underground and was used for caulking boats. There are a number of wells and springs near the lake which have now dried up. Nevertheless, the spring of Herodotus can still be seen by the visitor. At the charming little coffee shops on the beachfront one can relax and enjoy oneself. Caiques leave from here for the caves, the rocks and the bays around Marathia.
