Aegean was founded in 1999 and today is the largest Greek airline and a member of Star Alliance. It offers high-quality services mainly on short- and medium-haul flights, serving millions of passengers every year.
In 2013, it acquired Olympic Air, significantly strengthening its domestic and international network. At the same time, the company contributes to the growth of Greek tourism and supports the country’s remote and non-profitable routes.
In 2025, it carried nearly 17,5 million passengers, while in 2026 it operates 164 destinations, 132 international and 32 domestic with a fleet of 88 aircraft, remaining one of Europe’s leading airlines.
