Municipality of Ventzion

VENTZIO (Municipality) GREVENA
The Municipality of Ventzion was founded by Law 2539/1997 (Kapodistria Plan), consists of 7 Municipal Districts, the former communities of:
1. Exarchos,
2. Kentron,
3. Knidi,
4. Paleochorion,
5. Pontini,
6. Pylori,
7. Sarakina.
Municipality seat is Knidi, village of the homonymous municipal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. The population was 3024 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.
