Small town in Lycia 9.6 km W-SW of Myra, unknown except from its inscriptions, in which the termination of the name is uncertain. The ruins consist of houses, comparatively well preserved though not of early date, and some 20 Lycian sarcophagi with so-called Gothic lids, all exactly alike.
