Location information

  In Vari, located in the southeast part of the island, one can notice a characteristic tower, which creates a medieval atmosphere. Next to it, Fabrika, Azolimnos and Santorinioi are spread with picturesque cafes, taverns and hotels. Fokiotrypes (seal' s holes) facing Aspronisi Island are a shelter for seals, "kalikatsoudes" (local name for a sea bird), seagulls and starlings. The plain, spread with stubble, modern cultivations, draw-wells, farmhouses and cisterns, disclose agricultural life. Achladi with its lee bay and Saint George cable is a tourist resort. Megas Gialos spreads along the south coast of the island. Aquamarine sea, small bays, fishing boats and ships passing by, stimulate you to travel with your imagination. The bare landscape with Rasses (mountain), chapels, pathways and Saint Thekla offer a really different light of life.
  Visitors who desire to explore will find interest in Ambela, Three Lagoons, Chassani and the surroundings.
