It is located on the top Fylakas of the Rodope Mountains in a walking distance of the Greek-Bulgarian borders and it's surrounded by a beautiful beech forest. At that location there was an old deserted military outpost, which was given to the club in 1995.
With hard personal work and donations from members and friends and, of course, the support of local authorities, a refuge, named "Charalambos Dimou", was built at this location, which has 50 beds, indoor and outdoor kitchen, indoor and outdoor toilets, wireless communication and power generator.
Saint Demetrios chapel was constructed in the refuge's perimeter.
