General Informations
Mytilene International Airport "Odysseas Elytis" was launched in 1948 and the runway was 1200mx32m, made of gravel.
In 1965 the total area of the terminal was 368m. In 1980 served the first charter flight.
Today, the runway has a length of 2400m and a width of 45m and the terminal has a total area of 2000 sq.m.
