Municipality of Kato Klines

The Municipality of Kato Klines was founded by Law 2539/1997 (Kapodistria Plan), consists of 16 Municipal Districts, the former communities of:
1. Agia Paraskevi,
2. Akritas,
3. Ano Kalliniki,
4. Ano Klines,
5. Ethnikos,
6. Kato Kalliniki,
7. Kato Klines,
8. Kladorachi,
9. Krateron,
10. Marina,
11. Messokambos,
12. Messochorion,
13. Neos Kafkassos,
14. Niki,
15. Parorion,
16. Polyplatanos.
Municipality seat is Kato Klines, village of the homonymous municipal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. The population was 4281 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.
