Municipality of Amydeon

The Municipality of Amydeon was founded by Law 2539/1997 (Kapodistria Plan), consists of 8 Municipal Districts, the former municipality of:
1. Amydeo
and the former communities of:
1. Agios Panteleimon,
2. Kella,
3. Klidion,
4. Xino Nero,
5. Petres,
6. Rodon,
7. Fanos.
Municipality seat is Amydeo, small town of the homonymous municipal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. The population was 7838 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.
