Community of Athamanes
The Community of Athamanes was founded by Law 2539/1997 (Kapodistria Plan), consists of 8 Communal Districts, the former communities of:
1. Vlassion,
2. Drossaton,
3. Koumbouriana,
4. Leonditon,
5. Petrilon,
6. Petrochorion,
7. Stefanias,
8. Foundoton.
Community seat is Petrilon, settlement of the homonymous communal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. The population was 966 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.
