Municipality of Emmanouil Pappas

The Municipality of Emmanouil Pappas was founded by Law 2539/1997 (Kapodistria Plan), consists of 8 Municipal Districts, the former communities of:
1. Agion Pnevma,
2. Dafnoudion,
3. Emmanouil Pappas,
4. Metala,
5. Neon Soulion,
6. Pentapolis,
7. Toumba,
8. Chrysson.
Municipality seat is Chrysso, small town of the homonymous municipal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. The population was 10706 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.
