Municipality seat is Kopanos, small town of the homonymous municipal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. The population was 7915 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.
IRINOUPOLI (Municipality) NAOUSSA
The Municipality of Irinoupoli was not affected by Law 2539/1997 (Kapodistria Plan).
The population was 4153 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.

The Municipality of Naoussa was founded by Law 2539/1997 (Kapodistria Plan), consists of 5 Municipal Districts, the former municipality of
1. Naoussa
and the former communities of:
1. Arkochorion,
2. Giannakochorion,

4. Stenimachos.
Municipality seat is Naoussa, city of the homonymous municipal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. The population was 22637 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.
