1. Thiva
and the former communities of:
1. Ambelochorion,
2. Eleon,
3. Mourikion,
4. Neochorakion,
5. Ypaton.
Municipality seat is Thiva, city of the homonymous municipal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. The population was 23134 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.
