FILIPPIADA (Municipality) PREVEZA
The Municipality of Filippiada was founded by Law 2539/1997 (Kapodistria Plan), consists of 10 Municipal Districts, the former municipality of:
1. Filippiada
and the former communities of:
1. Agios Georgios,
2. Gymnotopos,
3. Dryofyton,
4. Kerassonas,
5. Klissoura,
6. Nea Kerassous,
7. Panagia,
8. Petra,
9. Romia.
Municipality seat is Filippiada, small town of the homonymous municipal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. The population was 9415 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.
