War Monument

  At the top of the road descending to Arvi there is a war monument to the men, women, and children the Germans executed in reprisal for the Resistance in the area.

War Memorial

KATO SYMI (Village) VIANNO
  At the entrance to the village is a war memorial dedicated to the 358 men from the nearby villages executed by the Germans for resistance activities during World War II after the resistance fighters had killed 84 Germans in a battle that took place in the entrance of the valley.
