ROKKA (Village) MYTHIMNA
Roka is an old traditional Kissamos village, 41km southeast of Chania
on the road south from Koleni, at 35km of the old Chania - Kissamos road. Above
the village there is a steep hill called Trouli.
On this hill there was a Venetian castle that the Venetians called Roka. At the
bottom of the hill is the Byzantine cave chapel of Agios Antonios. There is a
path to the summit which has some remains and a spectacular view.

KEREA (Ancient city) MYTHIMNA
Cerea (Kerea, Steph. B. s. v. Bene; Suid. s. v. Hpianos: Eth. Kereates,
Polyb. iv. 53. § 6), a town of Crete, which from its mention by Polybius, and
from a coin with the epigraph KEPAITAN, and presenting the same type as those
of Polyrrhenia, has been inferred to have been in the neighbourhood of that town.
