LAPPEI (Municipality) RETHYMNO
  In all the Municipality villages the traditional professions are being preserved. Weaving products and embroidery are still made with a loom. There are also woodcarving workshops, pottery, basket weaving and saddle making. All the villages have the traditional stills where the distillation of raki is made.

VOLAX (Settlement) TINOS
  Old traditions of wickerwork are honoured in the village of Volaks. Products of their work are exhibited in the village and in the town.
  At the beginning of the 20th century, about 3.000 or 4.000 baskets were shipped to Izmir every week. They were used for storing mulberries and keeping them fresh on their way to the European markets.
