Ithome

ITHOMI (Ancient city) KARDITSA
Ithome participated in the Trojan War under the leadership of Machaon and Podaleirius, sons of Asclepius, and is listed in the Homeric Catalogue of Ships. The poet calls it "Ithome of the crags" (Il. 2.729).

Asterium belonged to the territory of Eurypylus and is listed in the Homeric Catalogue of Ships (Il. 2.735).

Dolops

Dolops, a son of Hermes, who had a sepulchral monument in the neighbourhood of Peiresiae and Magnesa, which was visible at a great distance, and at which the Argonauts landed and offered up sacrifices. (Apollon. Rhod. i. 584 ; Orph. Arg. 459.) There are two other mythical personages of this name. (Hom. Il. xv. 525, &c; Hygin. Fab. Praef.)
