Monastery of Icosifinissa

An imposing monastery on Mount Pangeon with 150 cells and wide courtyards. It is religious and national center, unique for its rare icons and the precious donations. Starting from here their wandering its monks succeeded to preserve the Greek spirit and the Christian religion in difficult ages. Nowadays it is a nunnery.
