An old chapel (dating from the 11th or 12th century) and dedicated to the Pantokrator
is the predominant feature of this famous little island of Pondikonissi. It is
half-hidden in a grove of fir trees and pines. In the mythological account, Pondikonissi
is the island of Odysseus. Visitors come to it by boat from Kanoni.
