West of Megalochori are the Drasseses and Xekofti beaches. Mikri (small) and Megali (large) Dragonera, Aponissos, and Marisa beaches are offered for a quiet time.

APONISSOS (Beach) AGISTRI
North of Aponissos' lake, are the secluded beaches of Maghisa and Bariama (10 min. walk following the path that begins from the St. Nikolas cemetery) and south is Chiafa.
