Municipality of Paliki

The Municipality of Paliki was founded by Law 2539/1997 (Kapodistria Plan), consists of 15 Municipal Districts, the former municipality of
1. Lixourion
and the former communities of:
1. Agia Thekla,
2. Atheras,
3. Damoulianata,
4. Kaminarata,
5. Katogi,
6.Kondogenada,
7. Kouvalata,
8. Monopolata,
9. Rifion,
10. Skineas,
11. Soulari,
12. Favatata,
13. Chavdata,
14. Chavriata.
Municipality seat is Lixouri, small town of the homonymous municipal district. The first authorities were elected in October 1998. The population was 6432 inhabitants, according to the 1991 census.
