On the 14th of August a Football game is organised between the residents of the area of all ages. First the young compete with each other and then the older aged. This organisation wants to vitalize the athletic spirit and noble competition.
The next day, on August 15th, which is the religious holiday of the Assumption, the local Cultural Club offers the chance to visitors to enjoy the local dancing, as well as the delicious dishes and wines, by organising a fair. These special nights give the chance to Cretan customs to be presented to visitors.
