It includes the historical and ecclesiastical archives of the Catholic Dioceses of Syros and Thera, as well as the archives of the Municipality of Ano Syros. Through the preservation and study of the historical literary sources, one of the primary aims of the institution is to illuminate and promote the history of Syros and the Cyclades in general.
