Please read these terms and conditions of use carefully before using the sites (hereinafter "Sites") of the company International Publications Ltd (hereinafter "GTP"). The information contained on GTP's Sites is derived from industry sources, which are considered to be reliable. However, GTP and any third party providers and distributors make no warranty of any kind, regarding any material provided on the Sites, all of which are provided free of charge and on an "as is" basis. Availability, prices, promotions, schedules and fares are subject to change and withdrawal without notice; therefore, it is the responsibility of the consumers to verify reliability on an individual basis based upon specific consumer needs.

GTP does not warrant nor makes any representations concerning the accuracy, completeness, currency, reliability or fitness for a particular purpose of any of the data and services provided through its Sites, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, disclaims all warranties and conditions, including implied warranties and conditions of quality, merchantability or performance in connection with such data or services, whether arising by statute or otherwise in law or from trade practice or custom.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Under no circumstances will GTP be liable for any loss or damage caused by a user's reliance on information obtained through the Sites or any linked site, or by failure or delay in updating any data in the Sites.

GTP and any of its respective officers, directors, employees and agents, assume no responsibility and shall not be liable for any damages to or viruses that may infect users' computer equipment or other property on account of users' access to, use of, or browsing in the Sites or any linked site, or downloading by user of any materials, data, text, images, video or audio data from the Sites or any linked site. GTP cannot and does not warrant continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to its Sites.

In no event shall GTP and any of its respective officers, directors, employees and agents be liable for any injury, loss, claim, damage, or any special, exemplary, punitive, indirect, incidental or consequential damage of any kind (including, but not limited to lost profits, cost of procuring substitute service or lost opportunity or savings), whether based on contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise, which arises out of or is in any way connected with (i) any use of the Sites or linked sites or content found therein; (ii) any failure or delay (including, but not limited to the use of or inability to use any component of the Sites or any linked site for reservations or ticketing); or (iii) the performance or non performance by GTP, even if GTP was made aware of the possibility of such damages.

GTP is a mere agent for the providers of services available through the Sites, including but not limited to travel services. Any and all claims regarding any failure or breach with respect to the services offered through the Sites are limited to claims against any and all service providers. GTP and its respective officers, directors, employees and agents, hereby disclaim any liability, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise, including without limitation liability for any direct, punitive, special, consequential, incidental or indirect damage, in connection with the services provided by any carrier, provider or other supplier through the Sites, including without limitation liability for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be incurred through the fault, negligence or otherwise of such carrier, provider or supplier.

PRIVACY, CONFIDENTIALITY AND COMMUNICATION

In GTP we respect the personal data of each visitor to our Sites. In the text that follows, we describe, in a simple and clear way, how we process your personal data which we either we collect from you or you give to us.

Please read carefully the following information (hereinafter: "Declaration") in order to get informed about the way that we collect, store, use, transfer and protect the personal data we receive from you:

In General:

  1. GTP collects and stores only and exclusively the personal data that you notify via insertion of the obligatory personal information in the relevant fields or/and via your answers within the framework of specific actions conducted by GTP. You may participate voluntarily and the requested data are only the ones necessary for the company's proper operation.
  2. In view of our obligation to safeguard and protect its members' and subscribers' data, GTP is bound to protect and use properly such data (hereinafter "personal data") that are being collected through its Sites.
    During the process of your registration as User and subscriber to our Newsletter, we collect and process the following personal data:
    Name – Surname, Gender, Age, Place of Birth, Place of Residence, Family Status, Studies, Professional Experience
  3. GTP collects only the personal data that are offered voluntarily by you, in order to serve you in the best possible way. When additional, optional data are requested, you will be informed accordingly at the time of their collection.

More specifically:

A. Collection and purposes of use of the personal data

Collection of your personal data takes place only if you chose voluntarily to provide them – for example, in case you register to our Sites or our newsletter.

Our ability to effectively communicate with you is necessary in order to continue sending you our Newsletter. Consequently, it is necessary, during your registration, to provide us with the true personal data that will be requested of you.

During your registration in the services offered via our Sites, you consent also to the storing and use of your personal data, in accordance to this Declaration. We are allowed to process your personal data, in order to offer personalized services, pursuant to law (article 6(1b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679). Your personal data are not used for purposes other than the ones described in this Declaration, unless we receive your prior consent, or if such use is obligatory or permissible by law.

Purpose of the collection, use and process of your personal data is (a) the offering of the services that you request through our Sites, for of receipt of which is required your data's use or/and process (e.g. sending newsletter to your email), (b) your best update and facilitation in your browsing, through listing of your personal preferences in your profile.

B. Access to personal data and rights

The personal data that you make known to GTP through its Sites, either during your registration or at a later stage, are collected and used in accordance with the legislation in place, relating to the protection of personal data; more specifically, in accordance with the new European General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 as well as the rest of the applicable legislation on personal data protection.

More specifically, you have the following rights:

  • Right to be informed about your personal data: Following a relevant request from your end, we will provide you with information regarding the personal data we have of you.
  • Right to rectification of your personal data: If you notify us accordingly, we will rectify any inaccurate personal data relevant to you. We will complete incomplete data as long as you inform us respectively, subject that this is necessary for the purposes of your data process.
  • Right to erasure of your personal data: Following your relevant request, we will erase the personal data that we have of you. However, some data will only be erased following a specific detention period, for example, due to the fact that in some instances we are obliged by law to preserve the data or because such data are required for the completion of our contractual obligations towards you.
  • Right to revoke your consent: You may, at any time, revoke your consent for process of your personal data in the future. The legality of processing your data prior to this point will not be affected by this.
  • Right to object against the processing of your data: You may, at any time, object against the processing of your personal data, for the future. If you object, we will stop processing your data, unless there are legitimate grounds for their further processing. Processing of your data for marketing reasons does not constitute a legitimate ground.

C. Data Transfers

GTP does not share or transfer your data to third parties, unless this is required for lawful professional purposes and business requirements, in order to respond to your requests and/if it is obliged to do so by law. In any case, access to your personal data is granted only to authorized personnel, in order to serve the purposes of their collection, use and processing, as described in the present Declaration.

In certain instances, GTP may share your data with some companies or service providers with whom it collaborates, in order to respond to your requests or to other data processors. In each instance, we will inform you in advance and ask for your consent. The people who will have access to your data in this respect, will be bound by a duty of confidentiality.

GTP reserves the right to use the data which you provide to us through our Sites for statistical, promotional, research or advertising purposes, including by transferring it to authorized third parties, while ensuring that the identification or authentication of the individual concerned is not possible under such circumstances.

GTP may transfer some personal data to processors outside Greece or store data in another country to the one where you are located. By providing your data through this site, you consent to this transfer/storage of your data abroad. 

GTP may store your data in the cloud. This means that your data may be processed from a cloud service provider on behalf of GTP and your data may be stored in locations throughout the world. GTP employs technical and legal measures to protect your data and imposes similar- and certainly not less strict- requirements to the cloud service providers, including requirements concerning the use of your data exclusively for the purposes described in the present Declaration.

D. Data Security

GTP employs specific procedures of technical and organizational security in order to safeguard personal data and information from any loss, bad use, alteration or destruction. Our associates, who support us in the maintenance of our Sites also adhere to these procedures.

GTP strives to retain your data only for as long as it is necessary in view of the purpose for which they were collected or until you request that they be erased, unless it is required to retain them by law.

COOKIES POLICY

This policy explains how GTP uses Cookies during browsing its Sites. You confirm that you have been informed of this policy and accepted it in the browser you use.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files comprised of texts and numbers that are stored in the browser you use (Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer), that contain information allowing to the website to store the important information that will make the use of the page more efficient and useful to you. Cookies allow us to recognize your device and to activate specific information that render your browsing easier and more efficient. Cookies help you maintain your personal settings and assist  us to configure our Sites according to such settings.

Our Sites also use the Cookies of Google Analytics and of a sub-category of Google Analytics Demographics & Interest Reporting for the collection and analysis of data which do not identify the user but anonymous. All the activities of our Sites are coincide with the terms of use of Google Analytics.

May I reject the use of Cookies?

You can select to disable the cookies through the settings of your browser, as well as to delete all the cookies that have been recently stored in your browser. You may find more instructions be selecting the Help of your browser menu. However, you should know that by disabling the cookies from your browser, you may not be able to exploit our Sites' full capacities and some functions may not operate as they should, as their function is based on the cookies.

Use of Cookies from our Sites

In our Sites we use Cookies, only to register which parts of the Site that have been visited by the specific computer and for how long. We do not collect, process or store personal data from its use. We use the cookies' technology and the IP addresses in order to collect non-personal data from our visitors and to offer to our registered visitors the best possible personalised online experience. When browsing our Sites we collect simple data of recognition and measuring; for instance, how many users visited specific parts of our Sites. The use of does not damage in any way your computer or other electronic device from which you visit the Site. Cookies may be also used for repeated internet marketing.

Third Party Cookies

Third party Cookies are created in your browser by a different site from the one that you are browsing (in this case, other than our Sites). Such cookies may be cookies from Clicks to go to our collaborators' web pages in order to take advantage of their advertised offers.

Within this technological framework we are by law allowed to process data (article 6.1(f) of the Regulation(EU) 2016/679). We store such data, until the expiration or deletion of each cookie.

GTP reserves the right to store information on a user's computer in the form of a "cookie" or similar file for purposes of modifying the site to reflect the users' preferences.

This Sites may contain links to other web sites which are provided solely as a convenience to the user and not as an endorsement by GTP or its third party providers or distributors of the contents of such other web sites. None of GTP or any third party provider or distributor shall be responsible for the content of any other web sites and make no representation or warranty regarding any other web sites or the contents or materials of such web sites. Access to other web sites is at users' own risk.

GTP reserves the right to seek all remedies available at law for violations of these Rules and Regulations, including the right to block access from a particular Internet address to the Sites.

The user undertakes to indemnify and hold harmless GTP and any third party providers of services available through its site, or distributors, their officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claim, cause of action or demand, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, brought by or on users behalf in excess of the liability described herein or by third parties as a result of users' use of the Sites.

GTP reserves the right to revise these Rules and Regulations at any time and users are deemed to be apprised of and bound by any changes to these Rules and Regulations.

Users of the Sites agree to submit to the laws of Greece hereby waiving users' right to invoke the conflict of laws provisions of users' country or domicile. The users consent and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens in all matters and controversies arising from their use of and/or in connection with the Sites.

Mobile applications privacy statement

GTP owns mobile applications for which the following Mobile Application privacy statement is valid. User's privacy is important to us and this is the reason why we do not require from any user of device specific information when the user communicates with our online servers. All transmissions from and to our online servers are either completely anonymous or use a uniquely random ID specific for each user. This random ID will be created once by the app when first run and does not contain any personal information about our users. In some cases our app communicates directly with our online servers to obtain latest data for display within the app (such as latest news). When this happens we do not transmit any data about our users or our users' usage to our servers.

Advertising Banner Privacy Policy

The functionality to display advertisements is built in our app. In the case that our app will display advertisements basic regional/language information about our user will be transmitted to the advertising banner system in order to provide our user with relevant ads. In some cases our app may also ask user's permission to also provide geo-coordinates to help provide better ad content. In these cases we will ask user's permission to do so. At this time our app is actually ad free - however we may introduce this at a later point (and if our app want to utilize this information will provide appropriate notice and opt outs).
